At Take Two Coffee, sourcing is not about chasing trends or constantly rotating through whatever is new. It is about building trust, prioritizing quality, and working with partners who care deeply about how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed.

We believe the way coffee is sourced matters just as much as how it is roasted.

Relationships at Origin

We work with trusted importers and producers who value transparency, consistency, and responsible farming practices. The farms and cooperatives we source from are focused on quality cultivation, careful processing, and long-term sustainability.

Our goal is to support producers who take pride in their work and who are committed to improving both quality and opportunity within their communities. We look for coffees that reflect thoughtful farming and careful handling from cherry to export.

While we may not always source directly from the same farm year after year, we prioritize continuity in our supply chain and relationships with importers who share our standards.

Quality First

Every coffee we purchase is selected through a deliberate evaluation process. We cup samples, assess structure and clarity, and consider how the coffee will perform in a variety of brewing methods.

We are not looking for coffee that simply tastes interesting. While we do have what some would call funky and unique offerings, we also look for coffees that are clean, balanced, and dependable. Our goal is to offer profiles that are approachable enough for everyday drinkers as while as unique enough to keep the more adventurous coming back.

Consistency matters. Our wholesale partners and retail guests rely on it.

Responsible Stewardship

Coffee is agricultural. It depends on climate, labor, infrastructure, and economic realities far beyond the café. We believe responsible sourcing means paying fair prices for quality and working within systems that promote transparency and long-term viability.

Sourcing is not separate from our mission. When we select coffees intentionally and roast them with care, we are participating in something bigger than a beverage. We are connecting communities across continents through a shared product that carries real human effort behind it.
